Type 7 or 12 digits and BarCoder adds the check digit and draws an EAN-8 or EAN-13 barcode. If you type the check digit yourself, it is checked. Download the barcode as a vector PDF or SVG at 80% to 200% of standard size. For anything else, make a QR code from a link or any text and save it as PNG or SVG.
The PDF page is exactly the size of the barcode, quiet zones included, with bars drawn as vectors so they stay sharp at any print resolution. At 100% an EAN-13 is about 37 × 27 mm. Print at actual size, not “fit to page”.
The original BarCoder was a C# web app for making barcodes for packages. This version is rebuilt in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no server side. The barcodes and PDF are drawn by hand-written code, and QR codes use Kazuhiko Arase’s qrcode-generator.
